Set up OME.UNDFND

If a step will not tick

  • I added the extension, but the setup check says it is not installed

    Reload this page. A browser does not hand a newly added extension the tabs that were already open. If it still says so, open your extensions page and check that OME.UNDFND is switched on, in this same browser and the same browser profile.

  • Sign-in says my Discord account is too new

    Sign-up needs a Discord account that is at least 90 days old, and the message names the date yours gets there. Nothing is created before then, so there is nothing to undo. Accounts that already signed up keep working whatever their age.

  • I verified, but it still asks me to verify

    Verification starts in our Discord server: press Verify in #verify, open the private link the bot sends you, and pass the check on this site (a security check and the code from a picture). The link works once and runs out after 10 minutes, so press Verify again for a fresh one. If Discord shows you a rules screen, accept it first. If you left the server, rejoin first. If that is all done and nothing changes after a minute, sign out of this site and sign in again.

  • Everything is ticked, but the overlay does not appear on ome.tv

    Reload ome.tv and start a chat: the overlay draws when a call connects. Make sure it is the same browser you added the extension to. A free account cannot use the overlay behind a VPN or proxy, so switch it off or use VIP. If it still does not appear, the troubleshooting guide goes through the rest in order.

  • Can I set it up on my phone?

    No. Extensions only install on a desktop browser: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera or Vivaldi. Your phone can still be part of it: with OME Link it becomes the camera for ome.tv on your computer.

  • Can I use it without installing anything?

    Yes. The backup route is a script you paste into the ome.tv console from your dashboard. Nothing is installed, but you paste it again every time you reload ome.tv. The getting started guide shows both routes.
