Ome.tv gender filter and auto-skip

UNDFND Lens is the on-device camera read in the OME.UNDFND extension for Ome.tv. It takes one frame from the stranger’s video, decides what is on it, and either lets the call stand or presses next for you. The frame is analysed in your own browser and is never uploaded.

Free on every account, with no daily limit.

How it works

  1. Pick your rules

Skip by gender, when no face shows, on a black screen, on choppy video, or when the community has flagged a bot.

  2. A call connects

Lens takes frames from the stranger’s video and reads them in your own browser.

  3. It stays or it skips

If a rule matches, it presses next for you. If a face is unclear, it looks again instead of guessing.

Why it is free

The camera read runs on your own computer, so it costs us nothing per call. The IP lookup beside it is paid for per call, which is why that one has a daily limit and this does not.

Careful rather than quick

A gender skip needs two confident reads that agree, and a black screen is confirmed with a second frame. A face it cannot read clearly is looked at again rather than skipped on a guess.

Questions

  • Is there a real gender filter for Ome.tv?

Ome.tv has none of its own. Lens adds one: it reads the stranger’s camera in your browser and skips the genders you ruled out. It is free and has no daily limit.

  • Is my video or theirs uploaded anywhere?

No. The frames are analysed in your own browser and never leave it.

  • How accurate is it?

We do not publish a percentage we have not measured. What we can say is how it decides: it needs two confident reads that agree, and it declines to call a face it cannot read rather than guessing.
